The European Researchers' Night is an initiative that aims to break down the barriers that separate Science from citizens and demystify the image of distant and inaccessible scientists.

"Science in everyday life" has been perceived as a motto to encourage the participation of the general public, especially the young public, with research activities and the transmission of scientific knowledge.

By adopting this objective for the European Researchers' Night, the intention was to enhance public awareness of how much science influences our way of life, but also to give researchers the opportunity to realize the general public's perception of their work and improve contacts between researchers and citizens to strengthen innovation efforts.
